Privacy Notice
Instant Filter is private by default. This notice explains what is handled when you join, create a video, or choose to publish it.
What we collect
We collect the name and email you enter, an essential device-session cookie, your prompts, uploaded photos, generated videos and previews, and activity such as publishing, voting, and reporting. We also use a protected network identifier to limit abuse. Your email and source photo are not shown publicly.
How it is used
We use this information to create and store your videos, remember ownership on this browser, operate the public feed when you choose to publish, prevent abuse, and respond to safety reports. We do not sell your personal information or use it for advertising.
Services that process data
Cloudflare hosts the app, Supabase stores account and private media data, and fal.ai processes photos and prompts to generate videos. Only the information needed to provide each part of the service is sent to that provider.
Private and public content
A creation stays private until you explicitly publish it. Publishing makes the generated video and preview, your display name and username, caption, and filter recipe visible and reusable by others. Your original photo remains private.
Retention and your choices
Content is kept while you use the service or until you delete it, subject to limited operational backups and deletion processing. You can edit your profile, remove a public post, or delete a creation from the same browser that created it. Deleting your profile removes its private identity data when its owned content has been handled.
This-device ownership
The ownership cookie can remain for up to one year and renew while you use the service. Email is not a login or recovery method. Clearing site data, changing browsers, or using another device can permanently remove your ability to manage earlier creations.
Contact
For a privacy request, contact @developAR on X from the device that owns the relevant content when possible.
